- BFFC course shall enable the student to understand the basic principles of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) for both the aircraft emergencies and building fires at the airports with accordance to the International Standards and practices.
- 6 month Certificate programme conducted in collaboration with GMR
- IGRUA provides practical training with Fire Fighting equipment
- GMRAA charges Rs.2,95,000/- as programme Fee.
- First batch completed in November 2020 with 19 students.
- Second batch – completed in July 2021 with 16 students.
- Third Batch completed in January 2022 with 32 students
- Fourth batch completed in May 2022 with 66 students
- Fifth batch commenced on February 2022 with 34 students.
- Sixth batch commenced in April 2022 with 36 students.
- Almost 100% placement for all Batches
- Passing out Parade (PoP) of the Fourth batch of 66 students was held on 14 May 2022
