To develop the University as a leading research hub for aviation and to ensure industry relevance of the courses, the University has forged several collaborations. Rolls-Royce has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University to build future competencies required by the Indian aviation industry. The MoU outlines how Rolls-Royce will support the University to help develop curricula and offer international experts for guest lectures. Rolls-Royce will also offer internship positions to qualified students across Rolls-Royce sites in India.
The University has also signed MoUs with Bird Group, GMR Aviation Academy, MRO Association of India and US-India Aviation Collaboration Program. The first Executive Development Programme was also held in association with US-India Aviation Collaboration. Such partnerships will help the University faculty and students develop the most appropriate skills they need in the aviation industry by enabling access to the global technical experts and aiding the University in its endeavour to offer world class aviation education in India.
The University has signed an MoU with GMR Aviation Academy for Joint PG Diploma in Aviation/ Airport Operations which is an employability oriented program focused at providing trained manpower to the industry. The University is planning to launch this program by early 2018.
Pawan Hans Limited (PHL) and RGNAU have signed an MoU on 09 Feb 2022 to collaborate to offer Dual Aviation three years program of B.Sc.-Aircraft Maintenance with DGCA approved AME Certificate course under a Joint Development Programme. The programme is expected to be launched by mid 2022-23.
