- The objective of the program is to provide the graduates with an opportunity to learn and understand the airport environment
- Collaboration with GMR Aviation Academy with provision of Aviation sector experts as faculty
- Business model: Revenue sharing between RGNAU and GMRAA
- PG Diploma in Airport Operations -18 months course with 12 months classes in RGNAU and 06 months internship at GMR-IGI, Delhi and Hyderabad airports
- The first batch with 24 students commenced in August 2019. Out of the 24 students, 21 selected in different aviation organizations- Indigo, Adani Airports, GMR airports, FedEx, Qatar air & DB Schenker
- Second batch of PGDAO - Online classes commenced on 04 Nov. 2020 . Presently the batch is undergoing OJT at IGI and Hyderabad airports. Out of 21, 19 students got placed at different organizations – Adani Airports, UDS, Vistara.
- Third batch of PGDAO commenced on 27 Oct 2021 with 16 students. Presently they are in second semester
