Biography
Dr. Saurabh Tomar is a Teaching Faculty in the Department of Applied Sciences at Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU). He is a mathematician specializing in scientific machine learning, nonlinear differential equations, and physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), with strong interdisciplinary engagement in computational mathematics and machine learning.
He has held postdoctoral positions at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, including a Project Postdoctoral Fellowship under Prof. Manindra Agrawal and an Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. He has also served as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Data Science at ITER, Bhubaneswar.
Dr. Tomar has published extensively in SCI-indexed international journals such as Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, Computational and Applied Mathematics, Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, Powder Technology, Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, and AIMS Mathematics. His recent research emphasizes physics-informed neural networks for solving nonlinear, singular, and stiff differential equations arising in combustion theory, astrophysics, quantum field theory, and biological models.
