The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) was established by an Act of Parliament- the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013, as India’s first Central University dedicated exclusively to Aviation and Allied Disciplines. In alignment with its mandate to develop skilled human resources for the aviation ecosystem RGNAU has established the School of Aviation Sciences to offer specialized programmes in aviation operations, flight sciences, safety, and aviation management.
The school focuses on providing interdisciplinary knowledge integrating aviation science, operational practices, regulatory frameworks, and industry-oriented training. B.Sc. in Aviation Science
The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Aviation Science is a three-year undergraduate programme designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of aviation science, flight operations, aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, and aviation regulations.
The programme is structured under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and spans six semesters, with a total requirement of 133 credits for the award of the degree.
