Profile Summary:

Mr. Rohit Kumar Rawat is an Assistant Professor at the School of Management Studies, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad. His academic interests lie at the intersection of development economics, labour markets, and urban transitions, with a growing specialisation in aviation and managerial economics. He has significant research experience in Micro and Macro Economics, Econometrics, and Large-scale survey data analyses. Mr. Rawat is keen on interdisciplinary collaborations, especially those involving Aviation economics, Employment, Survey data, Gig economy, farmer-producer organisation, Rural non-farm economy and Informal sector. He has presented his work at various international conferences in India and abroad. He has contributed to academic workshops and policy-focused seminars. At RGNAU, Mr. Rawat teaches Aviation Economics and Managerial Economics courses. His current research interests include the economics of the aviation sector, workforce development in air transport, and regional connectivity in India.
