The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) was established by an Act of Parliament- the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013- as India’s first Central University dedicated exclusively to Aviation and Allied Disciplines. In line with its statutory mandate to develop skilled human resources for the Aviation and Aerospace ecosystem, RGNAU has established the School of Engineering & Technology to offer specialized Engineering and Technology Programmes relevant to emerging areas of Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics & Communication-Avionics, Artificial Intelligence, and Unmanned Aerial Systems.

B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering
The B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering programme is designed to develop engineers with strong theoretical and practical knowledge of aircraft and aerospace systems. The curriculum covers core areas such as aerodynamics, aircraft structures, propulsion systems, flight mechanics, aerospace materials, and aircraft design. The programme integrates classroom learning with laboratory experiments, computational simulations, and project-based work. The B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering- Avionics programme focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems used in modern aircraft and aviation infrastructure.
